“In June 2014, Carter D. Womack, CEO of BOLD:   Leadership at its BEST!, was the presenter for the annual faculty/staff retreat at Cherrydale Elementary School, Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Womack was simply outstanding, as he delved into situational issues that we had experienced as a staff in engaging urban males. Even though we were doing quite a bit, we needed to do more. We were given fantastic tools as we learned that indeed we could do more. Therefore, Mr. Womack was equally attuned to solutions that we needed to engage our children from kindergarten to fifth grade. In addition, colleagues from all over the district had been invited to come and join us in this workshop. Many principals and teachers from other schools within our district attended.
