BOLD Sendoff Highlights
Leadership At Its Best and its BOLD (Black-student Orientation to Leadership Development) - The BOLD SendOff. The BOLD SendOff that was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 was a success.The BOLD SendOff was attended by high school graduates, who are going to college, pursuing professional educational skills, or the military and their patents. At the BOLD SendOff, students: • Met and interacted with fellow 2018 high school graduates, who are also going off to college, other professional programs, trade schools, or the military. • Gathered additional information that will assist them in being successful during their first year and long term. • Discussed and shared some of their concerns about leaving home, adjusting to their new life experiences and how they plan to be successful. • Enjoyed some good food, had some fun and received their BOLD SendOff Travel Gift Bags • Became a member of the first BOLD SendOff group in Columbus, Ohio. The BOLD SendOff is designed to support, encourage, and uplift our young people who are leaving home for the next phase of their lives.
