Life has continued to be good. I’m now married, working at Google, and living out in California. JED was a foundation for developing communication skills. I still real articles to stay to date on news largely because it was first pushed at JED. It has allowed me to both participate in discussions about current news as well as being a source of information to fellow coworkers.
The networking parties we did at JED were both fun, but also real world applicable. It reminded me of networking at GDC.
The thorough work of Jayson re enforced and specialized my interview skills. I think that JED gave me a head start in that class allowing me to focus on refining interview techniques.
JED was fun, and acted as a good introduction to networking and interviewing.
